How Conversion works with Goldcast
Conversion connects to Goldcast with an API token and syncs its webinars with Goldcast events, so registrations flow both ways and attendance comes back. Members you register from Conversion confirm on Goldcast within a few minutes and receive their join link, while sign-ups on Goldcast's own registration page are imported by a daily sync. Around an hour after the session ends, members move to Attended or No Show, with join time recorded for attendees, and a linked Salesforce campaign receives the same statuses.

Register from Conversion
Set a member to Registered by hand or with the Update Campaign Member step, and Conversion registers them through the event's Goldcast form and stores their personal join link.
Daily import of page sign-ups
People who register on Goldcast's own page arrive on a daily sync, matched to contacts by email. The same sync fills in any join links Goldcast published late.
Attendance after each session
Around an hour after the session ends, members move to Attended or No Show, with join time recorded for attendees, so follow-up workflows can trigger on each status.
Statuses in Salesforce
Link the webinar to a Salesforce campaign and every status the Goldcast sync writes reaches its campaign members, while changes made in Salesforce flow back.

How to connect Goldcast
- 1 Get an API token from your Goldcast account and confirm whether the account is hosted in the United States or the European Union.
- 2 In Conversion, open Settings > Integrations, click Connect on Goldcast, choose the region, and enter the token. Conversion validates it before saving.
- 3 Add a registration form to each Goldcast event you want to register people for, since registrations from Conversion run through it.
- 4 Open a Conversion webinar, click Connect on the webinar platform card in the Overview tab, and select the Goldcast event before the session ends.
